Many people come to yoga as a way to undo the stresses and strains of modern life.  Through personalized instruction you will not only gain tools for movement, but fuel for deeper body awareness that carries into life both on and off the mat.

A big piece of Yoga (and most things) is not just what we do, but how we do them.  Through individualized practice you will have the opportunity to become aware of how movement (or lack thereof) in daily life feeds into habits, preferences and injury over time (the point at which we often seek help).

One of the greatest benefits of working one on one is working exactly where you are at!  Freedom to ask questions, communicate limitations, explore deeper and discover modifications for postures that may not "fit" at this time are a few of the perks.  We will work with your personal goals of practice- whether gaining the skills and confidence to practice in a group setting to working intelligently with specific areas of pain, injury or immobility.
